TechGROWTH Ohio

Mr. Gellermann is the Executive Director of TechGROWTH Ohio which provides operational assistance, seed capital and angel investment resources to entrepreneurs in southeast Ohio. He brings 24 years of banking, venture capital and economic development experience to this public / private partnership.

Mr. Gellermann is a member of Woodland Venture Management, a fund development and management company devoted to underserved regions of the nation. He is also the managing partner for Adena Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm that provides investment capital and operational assistance to small businesses in central Appalachia. Mr. Gellermann serves on the boards of directors for several of Adena’s portfolio companies, including Ed Map, Emergent Game Technologies, Sierra Novo and Game Plan Technologies. He also serves as an advisor to several entities at Ohio University, including the Edison Biotechnology Institute and the Voinovich School for Leadership and Public Affairs. Earlier in his career, he developed a unique “fund of funds” investment and alternative lending approach for a major bank. Gellermann earned his Bachelors from Hastings College and his MBA from the University of Colorado.
